One of the things that I remember my Great Grandma Liddy making was homemade cream corn.
Corn is my favorite vegetable and I would always request cream corn for dinner when I was a child.
This recipe takes almost no time to prep and tastes like you worked all day on it.
Super tasty!
Seriously, I could eat this all by myself. Top it with some parmesan cheese and you have the perfect side dish.

Ingredients
- 2 cans of corn
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 6 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- salt & pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- In a medium sauce pan combine corn, heavy whipping cream, cream cheese (cubed), milk, and salt and pepper.
- Cook over medium heat until boiling, stirring often to prevent burning.
- Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 15-20 mins.
- Optional toppings include parmesan cheese or cheddar cheese.
