Best Coleslaw Recipe

Summer is here! It’s time for cookouts, bbqs, family reunions, and Fourth of July parties.

This Coleslaw recipe is perfect for any and all of the above.

It is a crowd favorite and so easy to make.

I recommend making this the night before you need it.

This gives the slaw sometime for all the flavors to come together and it will be so yummy!

You will need:

Cabbage and carrots. I use a pre-made slaw mix from my local store.

Mayo. I recommend Hellman’s, seriously, it’s the best.

Buttermilk. In a pinch try one of these substitute buttermilk recipes.

Milk. Whole milk or 2% milk will work great.

Lemon juice.

Salt & Pepper.

Add all the ingredients to a bowl and stir, stir, stir!

Cover bowl and refrigerate over night.

I check the taste before serving to make sure extra S&P or sugar aren’t needed.

What’s your favorite summer activity? I would love to hear from you in the comments.
