Summer is here! It's time for cookouts, bbqs, family reunions, and Fourth of July parties.
This Coleslaw recipe is perfect for any and all of the above.
It is a crowd favorite and so easy to make.
I recommend making this the night before you need it.
This gives the slaw sometime for all the flavors to come together and it will be so yummy!
You will need:
Cabbage and carrots. I use a pre-made slaw mix from my local store.
Mayo. I recommend Hellman's, seriously, it's the best.
Buttermilk. In a pinch try one of these substitute buttermilk recipes.
Milk. Whole milk or 2% milk will work great.
Lemon juice.
Sugar.
Salt & Pepper.
Add all the ingredients to a bowl and stir, stir, stir!
Cover bowl and refrigerate over night.
I check the taste before serving to make sure extra S&P or sugar aren't needed.
What's your favorite summer activity? I would love to hear from you in the comments.
