Teriyaki sauce is a staple in our house.
My kids love it and will usually clean their plates when this is added to chicken.
With only 5 ingredients, this recipe is quick to make.
Most nights for dinner, there isn't a lot of time to prep, so easy quick recipes are my go to.
Canned or fresh pineapple can both be used. You will just need the reserved juice.
If using canned make sure to get in it's own juice and not in a syrup.
If you are using a whole pineapple, I recommend getting a corer.
Your needed ingredients:
Soy Sauce. I recommend low sodium.
Brown sugar. Either light or dark will work.
Minced garlic.
Corn starch.
Pineapple juice.
This can be used as a sauce on your favorite Asian dish or a marinade on your favorite meat.
What is your go to sauce or marinade? I would love to hear from you in the comments.
