Sushi is one of my favorite meals. It is what we choose almost always, as our night out dinner date food.
We have tried to recreate the rolls at home with some success, but, they are never as pretty as at our favorite sushi restaurant.
So, the Deconstructed Sushi Bowl was born!
This makes a great lunch or even dinner meal.
This includes sushi rice, nori, spicy crab salad, unagi sauce, and is topped with toasted sesame seeds and panko.
So tasty!
The only thing that is time-consuming is making the sushi rice. I follow this recipe,
I make it in a pan on the stove, one day I hope to get a rice cooker.
I also make unagi sauce following this recipe. I do recommend doubling the recipe, the sauce is so yummy, you will want more. And you can save it a couple days in the fridge.
A close up of a bite! Seriously, I wish I could share!
Now on to the recipe!
So yummy!
