It's that time of year again! This might be one of my favorite things about homeschooling, besides being there for my daughters “ah ha” moments, nothing really beats that!
I have made up some FREE homeschool planner pages for you to help stay organized throughout the year.
Also, check out our post on supplies need for homeschooling.
Personally, I print out the pages on this pre-hole punched paper and then add them to my 3 ring binder planner.
I like using a 3 ring binder planner because I can add filler paper, change the order of the sections, add in pocket dividers to keep track of loose papers and remove pages without having the paper all scraggly!
Also, a new favorite of mine are these erasable pens. I like to write in pen, but with plans always changing being able to erase is amazing!
First up is the Planner cover page. How awesome are these colors?!?!?
Next up an overview of the school year. This is great for planning out days for schooling, holidays, field trips, and vacations.
I like to have a schedule of what subjects we are covering each day. This helps make sure we don't skip over something.
I also included an assignment sheet for the week.
One of the things that I am greatly looking forward to this year is Unit Studies. I love that with homeschooling we can learn about what the kiddos are passionate about.
I plan to use the year layout to plan unit studies and include any important dates we need to remember.
There is a 2 paged week view.
A daily layout page. This is great for those really busy days, so nothing is missed. You can also plan out meals and snacks.
And last but not least, a notes page. I am always needing to jot something down since saying “Oh I will remember it” really doesn't work for me!!
What are you most excited about for this upcoming school year?
I would love to hear from you in the comments!
